Addicted to texting?

“Ear phones off, phones away” the most famous phrase by professors. As a student it does sound a little irritating to hear often. yet it does make me think about how much of our lives are spent on line, or in technology. It’s quite sad that being off of the phone for less than two hours, seems like a punishment. Even while doing homework I have to keep my phone out of reach or I will constantly check it. I’ve noticed this and I still have yet to fully change my ways. After reading this article by CBS things do make a little more sense. CBS says “the more texting comes habitual, harm can come to teens academically”, meaning the more teens text and stay in their phones can shape there intellectual abilities. I’ve noticed this in myself, the more I am on my phone that day, I want to do less work. I think the less you use your brain, the less one’s motivated to work.
