Is the heart eyes too flirty?

Have you ever sent a joke through text that didn’t exactly go over well? Don’t worry, it happens to the best of us! Fortunately emojis have almost made this texting dilemma disappear. From jokes to flirting and even serious conversations, emojis have got us covered. Emojis help to form the tone of the messages. Remember, don’t forget your heart eyes when trying to land your next date!

Babe!!! For the money, please???

Generational trends come and go, yet, the affects can be ongoing. YouTube is now a bigger social media platform than ever before! Now another way to reach the max level of clout. YouTube stays relevant due to their content. Pranks are a trend amongst most YouTubers. The question now is how far is too far? Or is it all fun and games in the name of fame? Seems now that anything is excusable with the perks and monetary gain!

Are “u up”?

when receiving this text, the biggest step for women…is to decide if in fact they are up. Of course many would argue, if you can debate it…you’re up. True! The real question is are we up for the intention of the message. The are you up text is referring to sexual activity. So the answer or non answer given to the message depends on if the women actually wants to do whatever with the sender.

SHOULD JUNK SHOTS BE ILLEGAL?

Don’t we just love to send pictures of our most private areas? No?…oh, ok. In my parenting and technology class most of the females weren’t thrilled about receiving junk shots. Whether the intention of the picture or the picture itself irritated them more is not exactly stated. According to the guardian there are people working on the display of this unsolicited junk shot. Creators are trying to distort the sometimes unwanted image before it sends to the recipient. They are trying to build software that notices certain areas of the body and blurs. Whoever this image is for will not see any actual parts but instead a big blur. I think this is a good idea, but will it stop the unsolicited pics? people will find away around this, even if it means going of their way.

Introduce Yourself (Example Post)

This is an example post, originally published as part of Blogging University. Enroll in one of our ten programs, and start your blog right.

You’re going to publish a post today. Don’t worry about how your blog looks. Don’t worry if you haven’t given it a name yet, or you’re feeling overwhelmed. Just click the “New Post” button, and tell us why you’re here.

Why do this?

  • Because it gives new readers context. What are you about? Why should they read your blog?
  • Because it will help you focus you own ideas about your blog and what you’d like to do with it.

The post can be short or long, a personal intro to your life or a bloggy mission statement, a manifesto for the future or a simple outline of your the types of things you hope to publish.

To help you get started, here are a few questions:

  • Why are you blogging publicly, rather than keeping a personal journal?
  • What topics do you think you’ll write about?
  • Who would you love to connect with via your blog?
  • If you blog successfully throughout the next year, what would you hope to have accomplished?

You’re not locked into any of this; one of the wonderful things about blogs is how they constantly evolve as we learn, grow, and interact with one another — but it’s good to know where and why you started, and articulating your goals may just give you a few other post ideas.

Can’t think how to get started? Just write the first thing that pops into your head. Anne Lamott, author of a book on writing we love, says that you need to give yourself permission to write a “crappy first draft”. Anne makes a great point — just start writing, and worry about editing it later.

When you’re ready to publish, give your post three to five tags that describe your blog’s focus — writing, photography, fiction, parenting, food, cars, movies, sports, whatever. These tags will help others who care about your topics find you in the Reader. Make sure one of the tags is “zerotohero,” so other new bloggers can find you, too.
